Anne Arundel County Police are on the scene of a reported shooting in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive in Annapolis, Maryland.
Authorities have confirmed two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
According to initial reports, one victim sustained a gunshot wound to the leg, while the second victim was struck in the back.
Emergency medical personnel responded promptly, and two Maryland State Police medevac helicopters have been requested to transport the victims to trauma centers for urgent medical care.
