Oconee County deputies are conducting an active investigation after an incident in Townville, South Carolina, and are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a person of interest.
Officials have identified the individual as 22-year-old Noah Brooks Brown. According to preliminary information released by the sheriff’s office, Brown is accused of approaching a vehicle with three occupants and attempting to commit a robbery. Authorities say a male passenger sustained a leg injury during the incident and was taken for medical care. The two women in the vehicle were not reported injured.
Following the incident, Brown left the area on foot. Deputies noted that he may be armed, and they are urging the public not to approach him.
Brown is wanted on several charges, including attempted armed robbery, presenting a firearm toward individuals, and possession of a weapon during an alleged crime. Investigators continue gathering information to determine the full circumstances of the event.
